Things to be thankful for

I know I've been tagged by Jeri to follow the thread passed ot her by others, I wanted to say something else first. This sort of thing is usually reserved for Thanksgiving, but I wanted to say it now.
I am thankful that my dad wasn't one of the 4 Scoutmasters that died at the Jamboree this week. I'm sorry if that sounds selfish, but it's true. He and another former Assistant Scoutmaster of mine are down at Fort A.P. Hill this week, serving on staff for the trap skeet range. They were apparently about 1 mile from the accident. My heart does go out to the families that lost fathers and husbands that day, especially the boys who were there with their fathers.
